
Qualifications
To register to vote in the City of Cambridge, You must:
- Be a citizen of the United States.
- Be a Cambridge resident.
- Be 18 years of age or older on or before Election Day.
How To Register
- You may come in and fill out over-the-counter the Voter Registration Form at the Cambridge Election office located at 51 Inman Street, Cambridge, Mass.
- Or, you may obtain Registration Forms from the City Clerk’s Office, any Cambridge Post office or Cambridge Public library.
- The Voter Registration Form is available in several different languages including: English, Spanish, Chinese, Haitian Creole, Korean, Arabic, Russian, Vietnamese, Portuguese.
- Make sure an original form is filled out completely and signed at the bottom; otherwise it will be rejected and sent back to the applicant.
- Mail (DO NOT FAX) the Voter Registration form to:

Poll Worker Recruitment
If you are interested in becoming a Cambridge poll worker, please click on the Poll Worker Form(PDF). Complete the form and return to the election office. If selected you will earn at least $140.00 for the day. Polling locations are located throughout the City. If possible, you may be assigned to a location near your home. The election work day is 6:30am to approximately 8:30pm. You will have one hour for lunch and one hour for dinner. The polls are open from 7:00am till 8:00pm.
